We have had a high volume of interest lately for our repurposed dressers. The concept of rescuing dressers from stores, such as Habitat for Humanity, and turning them into beautiful pieces of art is right up our alley. We thought it might be helpful in your decision making, for those of you who are interested in possibly purchasing a repurposed dresser from Resurrected Furniture, if you have a better understanding of the process behind how these pieces receive their new look.
Once the new structure has been built, glue is applied to the old dresser before sliding the new structure over it.
Voila! Now all this repurposed dresser needs is a few coats of
oil or water based finish and some rustic hardware.
I recently recycled an old grainery from Southern Minnesota. It was constructed of numerous hardwoods, including some beautiful black walnut boards mixed with white oak. The variety of woods I've reclaim from this grainery will make some gorgeous dining room tables, vanities, headboards, desks or that perfect custom made furniture piece you've been waiting for.
Always remember that your custom made furniture piece from Resurrected Furniture built from reclaimed material is completely unique and has quite a story to tell.
Hi everyone. Welcome to my blog. No, I'm not seriously a lumberjack, but I do have a serious appreciation for the outdoors. I've worked with wood/lumber for most of my life and I've discovered that I love woodworking, even more than I do carpentry. Building furniture has become a real passion of mine. I have worked with a variety of woods, stains, styles, and people! My first priority is to please my customers and create a beautiful masterpiece for their home or office.
Stay tuned if you are interested in learning more about the pieces built at Resurrected Furniture.
